About Tomasz Zaprzala
I started working with Boatshed La Rapita in May 2023.
What did you do before working with Boatshed?
Since I can remember, I have always been drawn to the water. I discovered sailing when I was 14 and since then, it has become my lifelong passion.
When I turned 30, I decided to pursue my passion by embarking on a career in the marine industry. Eventually, I was granted the privilege of establishing and running the boatyard in Sant Carles Marina, which was a dream come true for me.
Currently, my wife Anna and I operate a yacht service and chandlery business in Sant Carles Marina. We take great pleasure in supporting other boating enthusiasts by providing them with high-quality services, support, and resources to enhance their boating experiences.
What attracted you to become part of the Boatshed team?
The enthusiasm and commitment of the Founder, Neil Chapman. Boatshed is a natural progression for me, as it enables me to share my love of boating with even more people.
Are you a motorboater or a sailor?
Although I am a sailor at heart, I currently own a small motorboat. I strongly believe that choosing the right boat can make all the difference in having a memorable and fulfilling boating experience.
What is your most memorable boating experience?
Being lifted by SAR helicopter from the liferaft.
Sant Carles Marina is situated in La Rapita, a small Catalan town with a large and secure port in Alfacs Bay. It is a wonderful place to call home, and I highly recommend it to anyone to visit.
